How To Wear White After Labor Day

There is no need to put all your white clothes away. I would put away neon colors, summer florals (not to be confused with fall florals) and any other stand out summer pieces. I’ve talked about transitioning your clothing into the next season in this post and these white jeans are another example of my transition trick which you can read here.

I suggest you guys put together a fall outfit and substitute your blue jeans for white jeans and see how it looks! If you post on Instagram make sure you tag me so I can check you out!

The Breakdown:

How can you wear white after Labor Day? That is a big question I get asked all the time. There are a few key pointers on how you can keep wearing white. Think material and color. My shirt is a heavy lace in a dusty rose color which is huge for fall right now. If it were before Labor Day you could wear any bring color your heart desires. Texture, or material, is the other big thing to think about and is probably the most important. If you choose to wear white jeans after labor day style them with fall styles like a chunky knit or a jewel tone shirt. The sweater jacket I’m wearing brings another texture to my outfit with the lace, my booties scream fall (which have become my fall go to shoe) and I love this white look for October!
