Wearing One Major Fall Trend - Velvet

Shoes are always an easy way to start wearing a trend which is why I would recommend you try velvet shoes if you are interested in wearing velvet. I jumped right in with a velvet top. I made sure not to spend a lot because I wasn’t sure how often I would wear it, turns out I wore that top a lot, I love velvet and this is now my third time blogging about velvet and I’m ready to start investing in it. I even have a velvet kimono
Next Thursday you can come meet us girls of Bluff City Lights! We will be at Joseph at 6pm, September 28th.
Shopping is always more fun with girlfriends.

The Breakdown:
This look started with the velvet dress. I really liked it on the hanger and when I tried the dress on in the fitting room I fell in love. I’ve always been a big fan of this color too which I personally think makes my eyes look more green. Now, I needed to style this dress. Wearing it as a dress with some ankle boots would have been a great grungy/edgy look. I wanted to go for classy-edgy and I really wanted to wear these jeans and turn the tunic into a top (I styled this outfit similarly). To be honest, these pumps I’m wearing were not what I had in mind. I tried on three other pair of shoes and lastly gave these a try and it worked. You never know what will pair well together until you try it on.

  1. Velvet dress trend has always been a part of the fashion from late 90's till today. The outfit you are wearing is giving a good impression and adding more gorgeousness to you.

    1. It’s weird to see style staples from our past become so popular again. Thank you for your kind comment!
