Velvet Kimono For Layering

It’s time to start layering! I recently purchased this velvet kimono from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and plan on adding it to most of my outfits this fall. I was a Creekside earlier in the week with my nephews to feed the ducks and grab some lunch. I knew Creekside had a number of restaurants and I assumed they had a coffee shop but I never knew that Upper Cut Coffee existed. I ended up going here twice in one week. After I went in the first time for my iced coffee, I saw they had donuts so I went back a couple days later while watching my nephews for a special treat! I gave Myles a tiny bit of donut too and he was thrilled!
The Breakdown:
I am loving jacket shirts right now. Not sure jacket shirt is the right term but you know what I mean. This outfit could easily have been worn without this black velvet kimono but by adding it my look is more polished and put together. I also really like built in shirts. This t-shirt I have on looks like I have another shirt underneath but its actually just a trim attached to the bottom, talk about easy layering!  I wore a similar concept here. This bag was has my initials on it and was custom made at Maxfield Los Angeles during an event with Amiri. The bag has an attachable strap so I can wear it as a crossbody too.
