Off The Shoulderin'

Looks like I’ll be exposing my shoulders well into fall. This trend isn’t going away anytime soon. This top is for summer but adding rich jewel tone heels brings this top into fall. It’s all about how  you style it.

The Breakdown:

I got these J Brand jeans many years ago and they were the first very soft pair of jeans I owned. Now the majority of jeans for sale are very soft, which all jeans should be. I like that they are distressed but not over the top. My shoes are from Target and they are two years old. I am finally getting some good staples in my closet that I can wear year after year and still seem new. My whole look was put together around my top. It is the newest and is currently on sale here and here. My earrings are new also. They are Aurelie Biedermann but I cannot find them online. I purchased mine from 20twelve in Memphis. The earrings are for a wedding I am attending this weekend but I couldn’t resist wearing them a few days early. The clutch I am wearing came in the gift bag for VIP member to Memphis Fashion Week a couple years ago.

I love off the shoulder tops but am I the only one who has issues with them staying in place? Maybe because I have Myles with me and I am picking him up and bending down here and there but I am always adjusting the sleeves.
