No Red, White And Blue

I love a good jumpsuit. A few years ago I may have not felt the same way. Jumpsuits are an easy way to feel dressed up, they are like a casual dress. Sometimes it takes me a season or two to get on board with a trend and sometimes I jump right in to whatever is on the runways. Currently, I’m not ready for socks with sandals and I’m almost on board with wearing overalls. We will have to wait and see if I ever end up wearing either of those trends.
A softer version of red, white and blue and still feeling festive.

The Breakdown:

Hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July. We had a perfect day. It was spent with family and friends, hanging out at the pool, playing backgammon and ending with a cookout. The whole weekend was amazing. We did have some party crashers at our Red White and Boom Party which was a very bizarre experience. They came in uninvited and made there way to the best spot on the balcony to watch the fireworks! They were very outgoing and friendly but left me with a loss of words! Other than that no complaints.
Throughout the weekend I was wearing shades of red, white and blue to get in the holiday spirit. For our big party I wore a flag shirt which was actually one of the first items ever gifted to me, I wore it to RWB a few years ago (click here to see). I love this striped jumpsuit. It looked more flattering in person than it does in these photos, I guess that’s why you should take pictures before you leave the house! The one problem with linen is how bad it wrinkles, it is a very summery fabric because it’s so lightweight but the wrinkles can be an issue. I put on my favorite cuff (worn here, here and here) because it makes a huge statement which is what this simple outfit needed.
Are you guys into the jumpsuit trend? What about overalls and socks with sandals, is that a yes? Should I try it!?
