Downtown Memphis

This was my last shoot in Memphis before I headed back to Ohio for the summer. This dress has been a summer staple for me, it is by far the easiest thing to throw on. These shoes on the other hand, not as easy to put on. One of the great things about this dress is that it can be worn with any sandal, even flip-flops, or sneakers.
I love how this dress is draped, it falls so nicely.

The Breakdown:
I got this dress at Pure Barre. I know that doesn’t make sense but after class one day they had a little event going on at the studio. There were stores from around town at the studio selling things including a juice bar, Kendra Scott jewelry, and multiple clothing stores. I really hate that I cannot remember the store I got this dress from. I know the boutique has moved to Poplar Pike and Forest Hill Irene, which is great for me because I live on that side of town. Luckily, I know the location where this dress came from so I will be able to check it out and see what else they have to offer.

* EDIT: I am happy I now know where this dress is from. The boutique is called Beautiful Soul Boutique. I can’t wait to check it out this fall :)

The accessories all came together really well. I first chose to wear this petrified wood necklace that my sister got me for Christmas. The necklace was made by Cassandra Hackworth, a local designer based in Portland, Oregon, her company is Ttereve.  The shades of brown in the necklace inspired me to choose these sandals and this cross body from H&M. I have had this bag for so many years and I love it just as much as I did day one. These gladiators are very comfortable, see how I styled them here. They are from Schutz which is a brand I love, they make great sandals, sneakers and pumps.

bag | H&M
sandals | Schutz “Billa Suead"
bracelet | Slate “Crystal Chain Cuff” from Rocksbox
necklace | Ttereve made from Oregon petrified wood

Live votre rêve!
